The Bushnell 8×25 PermaFocus Focus Free Compact Binoculars require no focusing at all. Anything 35 feet away from you will automatically be in focus for you. These binoculars have an 8x magnification so anything you see will be 8 times bigger than with your naked eye. They are very compact and are a great set of light weight binoculars. They have a field of view of 348 feet.

The only downside is that they have a very small eye relief of 10mm, so if you wear glasses they will not be ideal. Other than they are a good set of light weight binoculars.

Here is another great video review from binoculars.com of the Steiner 8×30 Military-Marine. They are light weight binoculars which is great and have an 8x magnification and also they are excellent if you wear glasses. They have a really tough rubber armor on them and have a 10 year warranty. If you are a hunter or anything similar outdoors they are and excellent set of binoculars.

These have a land stabilization mode so that if any body movement will not impact your viewing. It weighs a little under 3 pounds so this isn’t so much of a light weight binocular. If you are looking for a little more stabilization and higher power it is recommended.

There are so many types of binoculars available that they have become a rather specialist subject. Some would say they are collectibles, whereas for others they are simply practical items. Light weight binoculars are a practical item and so appeal to the masses as well as the specialists.

Other types of binoculars such as marine binoculars or commando binoculars have a much smaller number of uses.

I find light weight binoculars particularly impressive because with the high-tech materials they are made from make them look far heaver than they are.

Light weight binoculars are great for hiking as well, which is a hobby of mine and largely why I started this blog, so I can ramble about my hikes, while gradually growing this Website into a useful resource and binocular store.

Price Comparison Sites Are Bad For Shopping For Light Weight Binoculars

There are so many price comparison sites out there these days it can take end up taking you longer to find the right set of binoculars than if you just looked normally. How is one to decide which price comparison site to use in order to find the best value light weight binoculars (or any type of binoculars for that matter!).

I for one am not a fan of using price comparison sites. I prefer to go to a store, online or offline is fine for me and check out the details myself. Often there are special bargains online that the big price comparison sites don’t pick up on because their algorithm isn’t clever enough.

Nothing beats traditional shopping, even if it is online!

Binoculars Are Getting Lighter

Back when I was a boy binoculars were a cumbersome item and I often found that after winning the argument to have a look through them, a few minutes later I would want to hand them straight back to someone else due to their weight. Now it is a different story. Light Weight Binoculars are more and more common and cost less than they used to. Admittedly they will set you back more than standard binoculars causing you to have a lighter wallet, but Light Weight Binoculars are often worth the price.

We love collections here at Light Weight Binoculars but this is just excessive! Seeing a collection this big brings thoughts of putting the binoculars end to end to see what it is like to look though them all at once!
